Interdean Explores the Prospect of Studying in New Zealand
(PRWEB UK) 5 December 2013 -- It has been reported in Expat Forum that the New Zealand government initiative is also encouraging students’ families to accompany them on their travels. Steve Joyce, tertiary education, skills and employment minister has launched the “New Zealand education story”, a 2 minute video which aims to offer a clear and consistent view of the nation’s international education industry. Through the use of photos, logos and presentations, the minister claims that New Zealand’s safe multicultural environment, warmth and friendliness are just a few of the reasons students should visit. Joyce also explains that “New Zealand offers a world class education system that focuses on innovation and creative thinking.”
Overseas education is the country’s fifth largest export earner, contributing $2.6 billion annually to the economy and providing some 28,000 jobs.
Assisting customers moving to New Zealand for over 50 years, Interdean also specialise in student removals. Naturally the news was of great interest to the team and a representative from the firm reflects on some of the benefits of international study.
“It’s great to hear that New Zealand is actively encouraging students from around the world to embark upon courses at its universities. New Zealand and Australia are popular destinations for UK students studying abroad, as they offer enough differences in terms of environment, cuisine and culture, without the hassle of needing to learn a new language. Attending university abroad is a great way of showing future employers that you have broadened your horizons, experienced other cultures and appreciated a different education system.”
