Miami, Fl (PRWEB) December 05, 2013

Beauty Schools of America® (BSA), one of South Florida’s largest beauty schools, announced a partnership with Miami Shores Optimist Club (MSOC) and US Marine Corps Toys for Tots.

Each year, the US Marine Corps Toys For Tots Program sets out to collect new, unwrapped toys during the months of October, November and December to help less fortunate children across the country. This year, BSA is participating by holding a toy drive at each of its campuses: Miami, Homestead, North Miami Beach, South Beach and Hialeah.

“This is a charity that we really admire. The Toys for Tots toy drive makes such a difference in the lives of children across the country,” stated Jeff Gonzales, Chief Operating Officer at BSA. “We are honored that we could partner with Miami Shores Optimist Club and the US Marine Corps Toys For Tots Program.”

Donated toys are picked up once a week from each BSA campus, with December 20th being the final pick-up date. The addresses and hours of each BSA campus can be found on the Miami Shore Optimist Club website or at http://www.bsa.edu.

The Coral Springs Schools, Inc. d/b/a Beauty Schools of America® (BSA) opened its first campus in Margate, Florida in 1989. The school has successfully expanded to a total of 5 locations throughout South Florida, making it one of the largest cosmetology schools in Florida. All campuses are situated in vastly diverse communities, basking in the rich variety of students and residents in the area. BSA is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE)/Florida Department of Education (DOE), accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and has been one of five schools across the country to meet the standards of the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC), which provides certification in over 38 countries. BSA currently offers an array of beauty and spa related programs and our curriculum continues to grow as the industry evolves.
