Grapeline© Wine Tours is launching a new, first-of-its-kind tour combining two wildly popular but usually unrelated activities: wine tasting and adrenaline sports.

The adrenaline rush starts with a 10,000ft leap from a plane over the coastline of San Luis Obispo county at Skydive Pismo Beach. This tandem skydive features 45 seconds of free-fall with a knowledgeable instructor ready to help.

After the jump, the tour includes wine tasting in San Luis Obispo at Tolosa Winery where tour guests will enjoy a full tasting of cooler climate white wine, pinot noir, and a few reds while enjoying the view of the winemaking production facility. A catered lunch from Stacked Sandwiches will be served on Tolosa’s expansive patio overlooking the sustainably farmed vineyard.

Next stop is wine tasting at Ancient Peaks Winery in Santa Margarita, California. This small tasting room is the starting point for Margarita Adventures ziplining. The adventure company features a tour through the vineyards before hoping on all four of the scenic ziplines through the historic Santa Margarita Ranch. This informational tour shows the beauty of the land and the extensive history of this small town.

The last stop of the day on the Adrenaline Wine Tour is wine tasting at Veris Cellars in Paso Robles where the variety of wines is unmatched. Three wine labels are represented at this tasting room: JanKris, Ben Hogan, and Veris Cellars wines. This winery includes tastings of several different flavored sparkling wines to full bodied reds at this beautifully appointed winery on Highway 46 West.

Grapeline Wine Tours began in Temecula in 2002, and expanded to Paso Robles in 2004 and Santa Barbara in 2007. Serving more than 25,000 wine tasters annually, it is the largest wine tour company in Southern and Central California, and also the top rated wine tour company on popular user-review sites Yelp and TripAdvisor.

The Adrenaline Wine Tour departs at 8am from anywhere within San Luis Obispo County including all area hotels and concludes at approximately 6:30pm. It is available for small private groups of 6-9 guests and pricing is $599 per person all inclusive. This tour can be booked any day of the week. Reservations are required.

Reservations are available by calling Grapeline at 1-888-8-WINERY.
