New York, NY (PRWEB) December 05, 2013

CanAm Enterprises LLC (“CanAm”) today announced two Partnership Loan repayments from its PIDC Regional Center. This marks the 19th and 20th Partnership Loan repayments, further establishing CanAm as one of the leading sponsors of EB-5 investments.

In late September, The Kimpton Palomar Hotel – Philadelphia repaid its $6 million EB-5 loan to all 12 investors who received an early repayment of their principal investment. The $6 million EB-5 loan helped finance the redevelopment of a former historic building to a boutique hotel located in the prestigious Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. More than 120 permanent jobs were created as a result of the project’s completion.

On October 27, 2013, a $2.5 million EB-5 loan made to Day & Zimmermann Group was repaid to investors. As one of the top-ranking operations and maintenance contractors in the United States, Day & Zimmerman Group provides a wide array of services that include engineering, construction, security and staffing to serve the needs of private companies and government agencies. The proceeds of the $2.5 million loan helped finance leasehold improvements and the expansion of its global headquarters located in Philadelphia.

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is administered by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The program provides opportunities for qualified foreign nationals to achieve permanent legal residency in the U.S. through an investment in a USCIS-approved project that generates at least ten, full-time jobs in the United States.
