“Angela Fitzpatrick’s novel is an unflinching look at life in 16th century Japan with a myriad of characters that demand to be read. Her prose is beautiful and haunting at times with an ultimately uplifting message. It’s perfect for anyone who loves an epic feeling of intrigue,” commented Erica Freeman, Editor.
