Concord, CA (PRWEB) December 04, 2013 -- Bay Area Ski Bus is starting the year off on the right foot by giving back to their community. All season long, they will be raising money for the High Fives Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation – Bay Area, as well as holding an online silent auction to benefit the High Fives Foundation.
For each rider, Bay Area Ski Bus will donate $1, half of which will go to the High Fives Foundation, and the other half will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation – Bay Area. They predict a total of $20,000 will be donated.
The Bay Area Ski Bus Charity Online Auction, which opened Nov. 1, will close Dec. 15. The auction includes an assortment of items donated by sponsors, friends and other industry partners. These include travel packages, lift tickets, goggle cameras, ski/snowboard bags, helmets, season passes and more. Those who register to bid for the items will also have the option of donating $1 or more when checking out. Sponsorships and item donations are still being accepted. Bay Area Ski Bus is excited about this opportunity to give back to their community. They feel that the two charities they are raising money for are in line with their business, so they see them as the perfect recipients.
