Reputation.com and Caring.com Partner to Drive More Senior Living Insights for Consumers and Providers
Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- Reputation.com, the market and technology leader in online reputation management, has partnered with Caring.com, the leading senior care website, to deliver better consumer-driven insights to people seeking senior living communities for aging loved ones.
Through the new agreement, Reputation.com will pull Caring.com’s reviews into its Reputation for Business product, a cloud-based platform that enables its assisted living and nursing home clients to immediately see and respond to new feedback from consumers. Additionally, the reviews that consumers provide via Reputation.com-furnished kiosks at these care providers will be submitted to Caring.com’s site so that others will have the opportunity to see more perspectives about a senior living community they’re considering for themselves or loved ones.
“Reputation.com will help its senior living clients to respond to, monitor and analyze the feedback they get from real residents and consumers,” said Reputation.com CEO and Founder Michael Fertik. “Reviews are critical in this industry because people rely on authentic insights from others to select the right caregiver for someone they love.”
“Families actively look for online feedback about senior living communities, and count these insights among their top considerations in choosing providers,” said Caring.com CEO and Co-Founder Andy Cohen. “Our research shows that assisted living communities with reviews get more than five times as many consumer inquiries as listings without reviews.”
Reputation.com’s technologies enable analysis of review data for sentiment, tracking changes over time and identifying emerging themes. “For assisted care and nursing home communities, it’s very valuable to see what consumers like and dislike,” said Fertik. “Quality caregivers use the intelligence they get from review analysis to improve the patient experience. That’s why they focus on getting more reviews from real people – for the best data possible.”
There are approximately 3.2 million people living in nursing homes in the United States; another 900,000 are in assisted living communities.
“Choosing the right senior living situation can be a difficult decision for individuals and families, often at a time of significant stress and urgency,” said Cohen. “Firsthand experiences from others help inform the search and selection process, and build confidence in making these important senior care choices.”
