Frommers.com and momondo Partner to Offer Travelers Service that Combines Content, Suggestions and Experience with a Fast Overview of Cheap Flights All Over the World
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 05, 2013 -- Legendary travel brand, Frommer’s, and momondo, the Danish travel search site that finds and compares billions of prices on flights, hotels and travel deals, today announced a collaborative partnership. Fresh off the heels of the re-launch of the Frommer guidebooks last month, the brand is ramping up its online content, including choosing to add momondo’s metasearch engine to the site. Enhancing Frommers.com was the logical next step and reaffirms the brand’s strong commitment to elevating its online presence.
Visitors to Frommers.com will now not only be able to peruse the extensive destination information, deals and other world-renowned content on the site, they will also be able to take advantage of one of the widest and fastest flight price comparison technologies on the market.
“Partnering with momondo was a no brainer for us,” said Pauline Frommer, publisher of Frommers.com. “We feel having their state-of-the-art search engine easily accessible from our site is a value add for our customers, as it will provide them with an important and powerful search tool, allowing them to quickly search for airfares to and from destinations we cover.”
In conjunction with the launch, Frommers.com users will notice a fresh new look and feel to the site.
“The next generation of metasearch should offer users much more than functional search,” said Martin Lumbye, Board Director at momondo. “Our vision is to serve a growing need for experiences and suggestions, which requires knowledge of what travelers want - and a technological evolution of traditional metasearch. The cooperation with Frommer’s and the marriage of Frommers.com content and momondo’s search technology is a powerful combination for both travelers and momondo, and serves as another step forward toward further developing metasearch and online travel.”
Now when consumers visit Frommers.com, they can not only take advantage of the fantastic content but also utilize momondo’s highly acclaimed search technology to find the best and cheapest fares on flights, all without leaving the site!

About Arthur Frommer
The son of a Polish-born mother and an Austrian-born father, Arthur Frommer was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War, but was stationed in Europe because of his fluency in German and Russian. In 2013, Frommer reacquired control of the guidebooks bearing his name and has come full circle, now self-publishing his iconic travel books again.
