Tim Davey Honored as ULI Richmond Member of the Year
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) December 06, 2013 -- Tim Davey, of Timmons Group, has been named ULI Richmond Member of the Year. Tim served as Chair of ULI Richmond for two and a half years from January 2009 to June 2011. During his tenure as ULI Chair, Tim laid the groundwork both within the organization and through building relationships in the community for RVA Reality Check, which came to fruition in May of 2013.
Tim’s tireless and organized march toward RVA Reality Check began with convening community leaders early in his term as Chair of ULI Richmond. During his term as Chair, and after, he spoke about RVA Reality Check with excitement and passion throughout the region. His enthusiasm truly brought the program to the point where the District Council was able to get the program off of the ground.
Tim had brought Timmons Group on as a Partner early in the RVA Reality Check process, showing an investment, both personally and professionally, which spoke volumes to other sponsors. As a leader, Tim was both organized and focused. He has continually pushed to ask whether taking on new projects will help the organization meet its goals. Tim is very skilled at keeping his focus on long-term goals, moving the organization toward them one step at a time.
Tim Davey will be honored at the 2013 Vision Awards reception to be help December 4, 2013 at Main Street Station, Richmond, VA.
