On December 12, the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association will celebrate the holidays IT Palooza-style with a VIP tent at the holiday party for the region’s premier IT professionals user group meeting. SFIMA will also host a special marketing panel at the event featuring president, Michelle Licudine, and moderated by board member, Marsha Bellinson. The session, entitled, “Bridging the IT Marketing Gap” will focus on the unique perspectives of both marketing and IT, and how the two departments can work together more effectively.
An expected 1500 IT professionals will descend on Nova Southeastern University’s campus this year for a full day of technology education sessions, vendor-prospect interaction, hackathons, professional networking, and a tech employment fair. The day culminates with a grand courtyard holiday party with live music by the all-IT professional IT Palooza band. SFIMA’s private VIP tent for members, guests and sponsors will be one of only two at the center of all the action.
The SFIMA tent will feature a fun photo opportunity for guests to declare whether they have been “naughty” or “nice” this year, comfy seating and bar tables for great networking, a complimentary drink, appetizers and refreshments. All IT Palooza attendees can enter to win a free Kindle Fire HD, and non-members who pay to attend the party will receive complimentary entrance to the January educational meeting. Students may join for a special new six-month rate of $99.
SFIMA’s special marketing panel and holiday party take place at IT Palooza on Thursday, December 12.
