CMC Markets Stockbroking wins Money Magazine’s Cheapest Online Broker award.

CMC Markets Stockbroking has today added another award to its growing list of accolades – winning Money Magazine’s Cheapest Online Broker award for the fourth consecutive year.

According to the judging panel, it was the winning combination of cutting edge technology and outstanding service for a great price that ensured CMC Markets retained its place among Money Magazine’s ‘Best of the Best’.

"We're very honoured to receive this award from Money Magazine for a fourth consecutive year. We've worked hard to ensure we are delivering the best for our clients across the board – technology, service and value – and retaining this award is a testament to our team and reinforces CMC Markets Stockbroking's position as one of Australia's leading online brokers," said Andy Rogers, Head of CMC Markets Stockbroking.

Mr Joshua Zenas, a research analyst with Canstar, who was one of the judges, concurred with Mr Rogers, saying, "The features CMC offers are those you would normally associate with a higher-cost product."

The award follows several initiatives implemented by CMC Markets over the last few months to reaffirm its commitment to invest in and grow the stockbroking business. These major initiatives include restructuring its brokerage packages to reward frequent traders, moving its IT infrastructure within the ASX Australian Liquidity Centre (ALC) and an exclusive partnership with theScreener to provide retail investors with institutional level analysis and reporting tools.

“We’ve undertaken several changes over the past few months to ensure we are at the top of our game for clients. We have a clear focus for the year ahead to substantially grow market share and constantly evolving our technologies and business structure is the best way to position ourselves for success,” said Mr Rogers. “It is our intention to set ourselves apart from the industry as the clear choice for frequent traders, and winning one of Money Magazine’s Best of the Best awards is a clear indication that we are on the right path.”

Mr Rogers went on to highlight that in addition to receiving this award, CMC Markets Stockbroking also recently scored the highest in overall client satisfaction, according to the Investment Trends’ 2013 First Half Australia Online Broking Report, proving that the online stockbroker is committed to delivering the best experience for clients.

The annual Best of the Best awards, which have been awarded by Money Magazine for the past 13 years, aim to recognise the best products and help people save time and money when it comes to investing their money.
