New Book Shows How to “Find the Path to Recovery,” and Get the Life You Want
Media, PA (PRWEB) December 07, 2013 -- Many of us feel at different times in our life anxiety, stress, and depression. For some people this leads to the cycle of addiction. Author Bajeerao Patil’s focus is on helping readers find solutions to their issues, change their past behaviors and attitudes, and learn how to manage their lives more effectively so that they can break the cycle of addiction.
“We all should have the chance to reach our full potential. Addicts need help managing their emotions and finding their path towards recovery,” says Bajeerao Patil author of the new release Lifelong Sobriety. “This is the first recovery book that emphasizes the importance of taking care of one’s emotional health. Many of us are addicted to the escape from life that drugs provide us because we are unable to cope,” says Patil. The book Lifelong Sobriety guides addicts towards the path of recovery.
The National Institute of Drug Abuse reports that in the USA alone, substance abuse is costing over $600 billion annually in costs related to crime, lost work productivity and healthcare. (http://www.drugabuse.gov/related-topics/trends-statistics)
As a drug and alcohol therapist for over two decades, Patil shares his real-life experiences with dozens of recovering addicts. “We all need to know there is a way out - if we want it,” says Patil. The thirty-four chapters contain the kind of simple advice a recovering drug addict might encounter in a recovery group. Addicts and recovering addicts will find new hope and gain insight into their own compulsive behavior.
From December 19 through January 19, Bajeerao Patil will be discussing addiction, positive thinking, the relationship between addiction and depression, and more.
On the tour, Patil will be available to answer any questions about Lifelong Sobriety. There will be reviews, guest posts and giveaways.
