Charleston, SC (PRWEB) December 09, 2013
Level Homes continues its quest to expand nationally by announcing its entry into Charleston, South Carolina. Their first community, Spring Grove Plantation, will feature 400 planned homesites. Level Homes’ latest expansion confirms the builder’s intent to establish a large presence on the East Coast, having already launched a division in Raleigh, NC, in April of 2013.
Charleston was chosen due to its highly diverse economy and its employment stability. These factors have led to an increase in home prices and reductions on foreclosures over the last year, making it a desirable location for homebuyers.
Bob Hilliard, a 38-year veteran of homebuilding, real estate and land acquisition markets has been chosen to lead the Level Homes’ Coastal Carolina Division as Division President. Hilliard’s experience includes 14 years as Division President with publicly held national and regional builders including Lennar, D.R. Horton, Arvida/St. Joe and TOUSA (Technical Olympic USA).
“Bob is uniquely qualified to lead this effort,” said Ric Rojas, President, Level Homes. “We are extremely fortunate to bring on such a versatile professional with documented success growing markets on the coast,” Rojas continued.
Hilliard has managed both the downside of the declining market as well as the recovery, including transforming one of the worst performing divisions in terms of customer service, to the #1 position. This same division eventually achieved a customer satisfaction rating of 97 percent with Hilliard’s guidance. Hilliard also completed a portfolio land acquisition for more than 600 home sites in 6 partially developed bank-owned properties, which created new opportunities for home buyers in Myrtle Beach and Charleston.
Homes in Spring Grove Plantation sell from the $230s and are projected to sell-out in a 4- to 5-year time frame. Sales in the first phase are scheduled to start in January of 2014.
