Mystery powder hunting ski trip to be held Jan. 11-18.

Those who dream of chasing the powder storms and decide at the last minute to have an epic week of powder runs usually book a ski trip far in advance with the hope and expectation that snow conditions will be great. Most have had ski weeks where conditions were just the opposite of epic.

Therefore, by popular demand, Ski Ride Tours is scheduling this "Mystery Trip" where owners Brian and KC McCooey will decide the destination five to seven days prior to departure - based on the combination of the best snow conditions at one of the top 20 ski resorts in North America. Based on recent snowfall history, their best guess is that the destination will be in the Pacific Northwest, ie. Whistler, Revelstoke, Alyeska, or Mt. Baker. However, it could also be in Utah, Colorado, Montana or Wyoming. Again, it’s an exciting mystery - one that will lead to powder land.

Ski Ride Tours, a family-owned and operated Bay Area company, has led destination ski trips to the finest resorts on the planet for more than 12 years. Owners Brian and KC, with more than 40 years of combined skiing and snowboarding experience around the world, have a special gift for enhancing the skiing/snowboarding experience, and for stretching those who desire to ski-ride beyond their comfort zone. The trip includes round-trip airfare from the Bay Area, seven nights of lodging, five to six days of lift passes (based on arrival/departures), shuttles to and from the airport, and on-site staff. Prices range from $1,950-$2,750 per person, double occupancy.
