Giant Tubing Hill and New Terrain Park Added to Mount Ski Gull
Brainerd, MN (PRWEB) December 07, 2013 -- Snow tubing, Terrain Park, 12 downhill ski runs, and more await visitors at Mount Ski Gull! After a month of earth moving and anticipation, Mount Ski Gull will open its new tubing hill this Saturday, Dec 7, 2013 at 4pm. At 1200 feet long, this is believed to be the largest tubing hill in the state of Minnesota. The new lift, featuring an automated loading station, makes loading easier and faster. Riders do not need to hold the rope, just sit back and relax as the lift takes you to the top of the hill. Ski Gull's MN winter tubing hill features a total of 3 separate runs.
If bringing this great Minnesota winter destination to new heights this year was their goal, Mount Ski Gull succeeded by unveiling a new 800 foot dedicated terrain park with high speed tow and a great selection of ever changing and improving features including jumps and rails. This new feature alone will attract visitors from around the state and the region.
Mount Ski Gull has long been a Brainerd Lakes Area attraction with twelve runs serving up fun and challenges for skill levels ranging from beginner to expert. For small or inexperienced skiers there is a now an improved bunny hill that has a new slow speed tow, a re-graded slope to better accommodate beginner skiers, and a large flat loading and unloading area.
All of this can be viewed from the Mount Ski Gull chalet offering food and beverages including beer and wine and even a cozy fireplace. For more information, visit Ski Gull's website at skigull.com.
