Athena Broadband Awarding Commercial Internet to Non-Profit Organizations
Shelbyville, TN (PRWEB) December 06, 2013 -- Athena Broadband, one of Middle Tennessee's’ premier fixed wireless network operators, today announced that they will be awarding a minimum of two years of free commercial Internet accounts to ten non-profit organizations in Bedford and Marshall Counties, Tennessee. The ten free service accounts will be split evenly between the two counties and is Athena Broadband’s way of giving back to the communities that have helped with its success in 2013.
Athena Broadband is accepting applications for any non-profit organization that operates and/or provides services in Bedford or Marshall Counties. The main selection criteria will be determined based on how each non-profit organization feels the Internet would help them and how passionate they are about their cause. The Internet service plan is called Extreme and the total combined value which Athena Broadband will be donating under this program is $25,000 for two years of Internet service.
“We currently work with several non-profits such as the local Chamber of Commerce and Public Square in Shelbyville and understand how much effort and dedication these organizations provide to our communities,” said Josh Lynch, Owner of Athena Broadband. “By providing complimentary corporate Internet service, the non-profit businesses can not only re-allocate the cost savings but they can also reach out to more people through our reliable service package.”
Any non-profit organization that is interested in applying should send an email to givingback(at)athenabroadband(dot)com. All applications must be received by midnight on January 31, 2014 and winners will be notified in February 2014.
