Purely from the standpoint of writing as an art, it is a thrill to have someone read your work and like it. It spurs me to continue writing with new confidence.

The next phase of the yearly contest is now beginning: publishing the 2013-2014 edition of the book “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading”.

In the words of The Author Show creators, "We are a true "Authors Marketing Powerhouse".

To quote Frank: “Being a finalist in the ‘50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Contest’ is an important and satisfying experience. From a professional viewpoint, authors build a reputation by getting recognition from three things; exposure on media, reviews from respected sources, and awards from contests. The Author Show Interview, the contest and marketing strategies have afforded me these important planks in my marketing platform. Purely from the standpoint of writing as an art, it is a thrill to have someone read your work and like it. It spurs me to continue writing with new confidence. I am grateful to have this opportunity to showcase my book and reach my audience of girls who love adventure.”

"The Madonna Ghost" has also earned the distinctive “Editor’s Choice” and “Rising Star” from iUniverse.

In "The Madonna Ghost", Annie Tillery sets out with her NYPD Aunt Jill for a vacation on beautiful Fire Island. She meets Ty Egan, setting the stage for a sweet little romance. Together they set out to investigate an eerie ghost from a shipwreck on the island. As the tale of the ghost unfolds, Annie and Ty stumble upon a diabolical plot that impacts national security, threatening the life of Annie’s aunt. This story has it all: mystery, romance, beach adventures and a thrilling plot.
