Robert J. Robes, a shareholder in the Boca Raton office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., has been appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees of YMCA of South Palm Beach County.

As a member of the Tax, Trust and Estates Practices, Robes' experience includes implementing complex wealth preservation techniques for high net-worth individuals, structuring closely-held family entities and advising exempt organizations. Robes also serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University School of Law, where he teaches a course on Estate Planning. He is listed among Best Lawyers in America in Trusts and Estates in 2013 and 2014. He was also listed as a Rising Star in Florida Super Lawyers in 2012. Robes received his J.D. with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law, his LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law and his B.A., in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University.
