RCN adds five times more On Demand capacity bringing thousands more hours of entertainment to customers.

RCN has completed a major upgrade to its On Demand platform and now has the capacity to offer five times more On Demand programs than it could just one year ago. As part of the upgrade, over 40 new networks, including Fox, NBC, A&E and Disney Jr. have been added. Such a significant increase in On Demand programming means customers now have access to more of their favorite shows, movies, and the latest releases available, with more coming in the future.

“The expansion of our On Demand platform delivers more quality content to our customers – all on their schedule, meaning customers can watch more of what they want when they want,” said Chris Fenger, Chief Operating Officer at RCN. “RCN's expanded On Demand library is part of our commitment to create a superior customer experience, all at a great value.”

This upgrade allows RCN to continue to add more content, titles and programs to its On Demand library; giving customers more viewing choices in an easy and convenient way. This is just one of a series of improvements RCN made in 2013, with more innovative service offerings coming in 2014. RCN continues to demonstrate its commitment to redefining entertainment.
