Sound Relief Hearing Center Offers the Gift of Better Hearing to Celebrate the Holiday Season
Highlands Ranch, Colorado (PRWEB) December 09, 2013 -- Sound Relief Hearing Center, a family owned and operated audiology practice dedicated to improving the lives of their patients and families, announced their Second Annual “Gift of Better Hearing” Facebook Photo Contest. Every year, Dr. Julie Prutsman donates hearing aids to deserving individuals who suffer from hearing loss and lack financial resources to purchase an appropriate hearing solution. Nominees were able to register on the Sound Relief Hearing Center Facebook page starting November 29, 2013, and voting will end December 12th at noon MST.
“Nothing is more difficult to me as an audiologist and healthcare practitioner than being confronted with an individual who is hearing impaired but who does not have the sufficient financial resources to better their lives,” said Dr. Julie Prutsman, owner and founder of Sound Relief Hearing Center. “Hearing loss affects not only the person afflicted but also their family, their job, and their friends. Through our ‘Gift of Better Hearing’ contest, we can help.” In last year’s giveaway, we had two ladies get over 1,200 votes each. “We really had no choice but to award each of those participants a pair of digital hearing aids, and we are blessed to be able to help in such a meaningful way.”
To nominate yourself or a loved one to win a free pair of digital hearing aids for the holidays, a $3,000 value, participants must register on the Sound Relief Hearing Center Facebook page. The winner will be the nominee with the greatest number of votes. Facebook Fans can vote once every day. Pictures of the actual nominee are not necessary but encouraged to get the most votes. The winner must have hearing loss to claim prize and must come in by December 13th to be fit by the holidays.
The winner of the “Gift of Better Hearing” contest will be notified the afternoon the contest ends. “We want to get the winner in for their hearing testing and hearing aid fitting before Christmas,” comments Dr. Julie. “The holidays are such an important time for our family, and we want our winner to be able to fully enjoy theirs with the best hearing of their life.”
