Local Fitness Facility Expands in Size and Services, Offering Clients More Personalized Training Programs
Rockwall, Texas (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- Studio Fitness is located in Rockwall, TX. This unique fitness facility was created out of owner Jim Floyd’s passion for living an active lifestyle and helping others feel better by improving their well-being. During his work at other gyms, Jim realized a need for more personalized training services that would enhance the results that his clients achieved. His time at these other gyms allowed him to become more knowledgeable about what that personalized training service should look like, but the environment at these gyms interfered with his ability to offer these services to his clients. Jim knew it was time to make a move and he was able to build a business on his own that would benefit his clients. Now Studio Fitness is dedicated to creating fitness programs unique to each individual’s specific needs. During the fitness process, Studio Fitness staff and trainers strive to educate each member and provide eye-opening experiences through fitness tests and functional movement screenings (FMS). Trainers at Studio Fitness strive to help their clients improve their total body health, so they can feel and look great.
When Studio Fitness was first created, the facility consisted of a large weight room containing free weights, weight lifting machines, treadmills, ellipticals and other equipment that one would expect to find in a gym. Jim and his other personal trainers on staff conduct personal training sessions in this weight room. So what makes Studio Fitness unique if they have the same equipment as everyone else? Jim and the other personal trainers dedicate special time and attention to each member even before the personal training sessions begin as well as after each session is completed. They take this time to assess and learn more about the fitness needs of each individual. In order to build a personalized program for each client, the staff conducts functional movement system screenings and fitness tests with each member. Educating clients about their own bodies is a crucial part of the process so that they understand how their hard work will result in a positive change. Earlier this year Studio Fitness had the ability to expand through acquiring a new facility, which also allowed them to expand their services to their clients. When asked about the new facility, owner and personal trainer Jim Floyd said, “Personal training and weight lifting isn’t for everyone, and we understand that. This new facility will offer members a place to come in and be a part of different type of workout. In this new open facility we host group-training classes from Body Evolve to boot camp style training. This extension to our gym also enables us to incorporate more agility and conditioning training into our programs. Between our two gyms, the weight gym and the activities gym, we really do have something that will fit anyone’s needs.”
Acquiring this new facility led to Studio Fitness doubling the training space accessible to their members. It features turf floors and contains yoga, Pilates, boxing, agility and conditioning equipment. Studio Fitness has begun offering group-training classes and plans on adding more to their weekly class schedule as they receive feedback from members about the classes they enjoy most. The new activities gym is also a place where Studio Fitness can host special events and youth training programs. In fact, a local middle school has made plans to utilize Studio Fitness’ indoor facility for a speed and agility boot camp program that they will put in place for after-school training.
The new activities gym has opened up so many new opportunities for the local fitness facility and their services will only get better as they learn what works best for their members and trainers. Studio Fitness strives to be a place where every member can feel comfortable coming in to train and work out. To learn more about Studio Fitness, visit their website here.
