Concept Searching Launches Survey on SharePoint and Office 365
McLean, VA, US and Stevenage, UK (PRWEB UK) 9 December 2013 -- Concept Searching , the leader in semantic metadata generation, auto-classification, and taxonomy management software, and developer of the Smart Content Framework™, has launched its annual survey on how organizations are using metadata to drive business processes within a SharePoint and/or an Office 365 environment, and the use of term sets to manage the metadata across their organizations.
Last year’s survey focused on the use of metadata to drive business process improvements in search, records management, data privacy, migration, text analytics, and enterprise social networking. The results of last year’s survey are included in ‘The Trend Towards Intelligent Metadata Enabled Solutions’ white paper and can be accessed here.
Guided by the same theme, the survey focus this year is how organizations are using Managed Metadata Services, what metadata application challenges they are facing, resources needed, and the ancillary tools they are using to manage metadata. With the growing popularity of Office 365, organizations are facing new challenges relating to information governance issues in a cloud or hybrid environment. The objective is to gain the pulse of the marketplace on how organizations intend to address metadata challenges, regardless of the technology environment.
The survey responses will be included in the ‘2014 Trend Towards Intelligent Metadata Solutions’ white paper, to be published in February, 2014. All survey contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the white paper. Offering an incentive to participants, Concept Searching will provide a full Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2014 pass with a retail value of $1,995 to one survey participant selected at random on February 3rd. Survey participants are welcomed, and the survey link and details can be found here.
