We always have to assume that everything we sell them is going to be mission critical—that lives may be depending on it. There is absolutely no margin for error

Chicago, Ill. (PRWEB) December 11, 2013

Ace Technology Partners, LLC, an industry leading custom computer manufacturer and reseller, just announced that it is set to deliver IT solutions immediately following the Jan. 1 rollout of the U.S. Air Force’s NETCENTS 2 initiative. Ace Technology Partners is one of an elite group of technology providers selected to share the $6.9 billion dollar contract with a three-year base period of performance and three additional one-year option periods.

Ace Technology Partners will be providing servers and storage, networking equipment, peripherals, software, multimedia and identity management/biometric hardware and associated software---all meeting the company’s standards for industry-leading quality, top performance, and value.

Ace Technology Partners’ long history with the USAF includes a recent order to replace nearly 1,000 workstations in critical applications. “We consider our solid partnership with the U.S. Air Force to be the supreme vote of confidence,” said Ace Technology Partners’ CEO John Samborski. “We always have to assume that everything we sell them is going to be mission critical—that lives may be depending on it. There is absolutely no margin for error. We bring this same level of quality to everything we sell to every client.”

The USAF’s NETCENTS 2 (Network Centric Solutions 2) contract is a suite of acquisitions that replaces the first NETCENTS initiative with seven individual contracts. NETCENTS 2 is designed to provide federal agencies that include the USAF and Department of Defense with a trusted source for standardized networking equipment, supplies and relevant services.

The ultimate NETCENTS 2 award is the result of rigorous vetting by government officials, multiple protests, and an unusually long delay for the final award. In order to triumph, Ace Technology Partners had to prove that they have the ability and capacity to comply with exacting government procurement guidelines on spec and on schedule.
