HealthEd announced two new hires today: Courtney Johnson as client engagement lead and Gillian Astarita as project coordinator. HealthEd, the leading patient engagement company, uses innovative educational solutions to help patients, industry organizations, and communities navigate through healthcare.
As client engagement lead for HealthEd’s West Coast clients—including Gilead and Genentech— Courtney plays a critical role in the strategic direction and execution of clients’ assignments. Courtney comes to HealthEd from Kerwin Communications, where she managed both large- and small-scale assignments. Courtney has a BS in business administration from Seton Hall University.
As project coordinator, Gillian Astarita is responsible for the Prometheus, Eli Lilly, Lundbeck, Genentech, and GlaxoSmthKline accounts. Gillian comes to HealthEd from International House as a manager and a teacher of English as a second language. She has a BS in communications and a master’s in sociology from St. John’s University.
