The new expansion includes 5,000 SF of new custom suites designed to meet our clients’ specific needs. In addition to the newly launched DR space, the company recently completed a major upgrade to its power infrastructure at its Boca Raton campus. It added a new 1200A, three-phase, 480 V service feeding a brand new ASCO 7000 Series ATS for their phase-four colocation facility, which is backed up by an 800 kW MTU generator. Both feed state-of-the-art Liebert NXL 300 kVA UPS systems, with touch screen technology, and fully redundant internal components. The company also added another new 800 kW MTU generator to handle the load of the phase-three colocation facility. Lastly, at its generator yard, two (2) gen-to-gen ASCO Series 7000 transfer switches were added, each one fed by the primary 800 kW generators, which are backed up by a legacy 1 Megawatt generator. This upgrade effectively means that in the event of a failure of the main FPL feed, and/or the primary 800 kW generator at either colocation facility, the 1 Megawatt generator will seamlessly step in and pick up the load thereby giving Host.net true N+1 redundancy in both facilities.
