Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 18, 2013
Vinolovers, a new personalized wine subscription club, has launched and is now accepting orders. Vinolovers provides wine drinkers exclusive access to boutique wines from around the globe and guides their customers to choose wines based on their personal taste preferences through a palate discovery tool.
“At Vinolovers, we understand that everyone’s palate is unique which is why we’ve created a wine club that celebrates individuality, inspires the pursuit to learn more about the grape, and allows our community to drink some of the world’s best wine that they would not have had access to otherwise,” said Vinolovers Founder and CEO Justin Harrison. “I had a simple mission in mind when I founded Vinolovers - to make the wine experience more educational, convenient and tailored for wine lovers.”
Vinolovers is headquartered in Harrison’s hometown of Washington, DC, and is a member of DC’s largest startup hub, 1776. Harrison views DC as the best community to launch his new wine club because of the blossoming tech scene, because it has the nation’s highest per capita wine consumption, and also because of the emerging wine region in Virginia.
“I am excited about bringing great old world wines from small family vineyards across the globe to my customers,” said Harrison. “But what excites me even more are the opportunities to work with boutique domestic wineries that stretch across our country. We feature wines from Virginia, Idaho, New York’s Long Island and more.”
Although Vinolovers has kicked off its launch campaign in DC, the new wine club can ship to 40 US states, and gift card orders placed this week will arrive in time for Christmas. Harrison encourages new customers to treat loved ones, this holiday season, to a Vinolovers Gift Card to give them the tasting room experience from the comfort of their own home.
Vinolovers has been featured in local and national media outlets over the past few months. During DC Wine Week in October, Harrison was interviewed on Fox 5 DC for his expertise on finding wines that over-shadow their price points. More recently, Vinolovers was picked up by Jezebel and Buzzfeed for their content piece “The Type of Wine You are According to Your Myers-Briggs Profile.”
