Icing Images® Introduces New Line of Edible Ink Cartridges for Latest Canon Printers
Winchester, VA (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- This week, following extensive testing, Icing Images introduced their new edible ink cartridges to the market, designed to work with the latest Canon printers, the MG5420 and MG5520. The PGI-250/CLI-251 edible ink cartridge series were designed to fit these new Canon printer models featuring a paper tray beneath the printer and removable print head.
Icing Images now offers the Genesis Printer Package, a kit that includes the latest MG5420 printer and a full set of the new edible cartridges. Genesis works exclusively with the latest cartridges; however, the cartridges also work with other Canon printer models PIXMA MG5420, PIXMA MG5520, PIXMA MG6420, PIXMA MX922, PIXMA MG5422, PIXMA MG5522, PIXMA MX722 and PIXMA iP7220.
Edible printing supplies, both the inks and icing sheets, rely on good printer design to accommodate specific needs, such as easy print head cleaning, and low risk of paper jams or misaligned printing. All new printer models offered by Canon are thoroughly tested to be sure these needs are met so customers experience the best success rate possible with edible printing.
Icing Images’ own Gold Label Inks™ work well in cartridges designed to fit these models. The Gold Label Inks, carried exclusively by Icing Images, resist color changes and do not present the typical blue, red or green hues that are problematic with other edible ink brands, resulting in truer colors.
“We are delighted to offer our customers the flexibility of working with the latest printing technology by keeping up-to-date with the necessary edible cartridge component.” – Deborah Coughlin, Icing Images owner.
The 250 and 251 series cartridges are not refillable or Kosher; however, Icing Images expects to release refillable cartridges within two weeks.
Icing Images offers a wide selection of edible ink cartridges to fit most Canon printers. Retail bakers and cake decorators print images for consumption using printers solely for food products. These edible prints feature custom pictures, designs and logos to create unique works of art specially designed to meet the needs of their customers. Regular printer inks contain toxins which would otherwise contaminate edible paper when the printer is used for office purposes.
Icing Images has been a leading distributor of edible pictures and edible paper art supplies for over a decade. Edible picture supplies such as edible image printers, edible ink, icing sheets, and electronic and die cutters are used by cake and confection decorators throughout the world.
