Senior Talent Acquisition Leader Joins Innovative Executive Search Firm

Executive search firm Accelent, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Carlin as Partner. With over 25 years' experience as a senior human resources change management leader and executive business professional, Donna has a proven track record of achieving measurable results in mid-sized and large domestic and global organizations. Donna will be heading the human resources search practice at Accelent, an executive talent acquisition and integration firm, serving technology clients in the Internet, ecommerce, and digital media sectors as well as the enterprise and SaaS software space.

Donna was a former client of Accelent’s Founder and Managing Director John Boehmer, who is thrilled to have Donna lead the company’s human resources search practice. “Donna’s uncanny intuition enables her identify the right talent, and her broad-based experience working in talent acquisition gives her the ability to look at an executive need in HR from several perspectives.” Accelent welcomes Donna Carlin, who is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Columbia University, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Villanova.

“Donna has a unique ability to strategize and execute successful searches in HR as well as to improve corporate performance and profitability by creating innovative solutions and initiatives," says Boehmer. Prior to joining Accelent, Donna worked for some of the world’s most successful human resources consulting firms including Marsh & McLennan, Towers Watson, and Aon/Hewitt as the Director of Talent Management and Talent Acquisition. Donna also improved corporate performance and profitability for major private equity companies in the retail and hospitality sectors as the CHRO. Donna most recently served as a human resources/talent acquisition consultant for Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, where she was responsible for the design, strategy, and execution of full life-cycle recruiting efforts for executive level positions across the firm’s human resources department.
