Timmons Group is proud to announce that Chris Dodson, PWS, Principal in Charge of the firm’s Field Operations Division, has been appointed to the Virginia Mitigation Banking Association (VMBA) Committee for Agency Outreach. The function of this committee is to maintain meaningful contact with the Interagency Review Team (IRT) to encourage open dialogue and opportunities for VMBA input on pertinent issues.
“I am excited to serve on this committee for the VMBA. I am proud to be serving with other leaders to promote the restoration and conservation of wetlands and streams and other natural resources in Virginia,” said Dodson.
Chris Dodson oversees Timmons Group’s Field Operations Division, which includes environmental services, land surveying, geotechnical engineering and materials testing and construction services. His expertise includes environmental constraint analyses, wetland delineations, stream assessments and Section 401/404 permitting. Chris has successfully managed numerous large wetland delineation and stream assessment projects. He negotiates general and individual permit approvals on a wide range of projects. He is also experienced with wetland, stream and riparian buffer restoration design and construction where he has provided the necessary on-site construction oversight to ensure proper construction of these projects.
