Mondetta Clothing Uniform Program for the Canadian Curling Association
Winnipeg, Manitoba (PRWEB) December 13, 2013 -- Continuing its ongoing partnership with the Canadian Curling Association, Mondetta Clothing has provided the official uniforms for all 16 teams competing at the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials, presented by Monsanto, which took place in Winnipeg from December first to eighth.
The uniforms, consisting of a jersey and a jacket, are a departure from previous programs in that this year's have been constructed using sublimation print fabrics offering the best in performance technology and are infused with technical capabilities such as four-way stretch, moisture wicking, breathability and quick-drying properties. The fit for both have been articulated to suit curlers specifically and the range of movement characteristic to the sport, allowing for comfort and a full range of motion. The jacket has silicone grip elastics in the hem while the jersey has been updated with abrasion resistant seaming both of which will further enhance comfort and provide a technical edge on the ice.
Because the eight men's and eight women's teams at the tournament are vying to represent the nation at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and not provincially tethered, previous colour schemes have been dispatched in favour of an updated palette reflecting prevalent fashion colour trends. Using a two-toned shadow pattern, darker hues have been paired with lighter ones, resulting in a complete series of uniforms that, using sublimation printing, are much more fashion forward and dramatically stylish than anything previously seen on the national curling scene.

The Roar of the Rings uniforms are a precursor to the soon-to-be-launched Mondetta-designed Team Canada apparel for both the men's and women's teams taking part in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics in early 2014.
