Sivad Business Solutions is happy to announce they have signed a contract to supply records management solutions to the members of the Mid-South Independent School Business Officers (MISBO). MISBO is a professional association of independent schools in the Southeast Region of the United States that provides opportunities for collective purchasing, information sharing and professional development for the business officers and the business operations of independent schools.

With over 300 schools, Sivad is excited about offering its proven records management solutions to help business officers and others within the schools manage the large volume of documentation that is created every school year. Sivad Business Solutions contract with MISBO covers consultation on creating records and retention plans, conversion services for moving paper documents to a digital format and software technology solutions in order to store and manage the digitally converted documents.

Ron Davis, President of Sivad Business Solutions, commented on the contract by saying, “Sivad has had a long relationship within the education sector and is excited about this new relationship with the independent schools. Every year, having a records management program becomes more important. From a legal and regulatory standpoint, not having a proper records management program can have serious consequences for any independent school. The issue is that most business officers do not know where to start or in many cases do not have the resources in implementing a plan. This will be Sivad’s mission in fulfilling this contract.”

Julie Ray, CFO with Mt. Paran Christian School and Sivad customer said “Sivad Solutions has been wonderful to work with since we began digitally archiving with them in 2010. Implementing a document retention strategy seemed overwhelming, but Sivad partnered with us to help get our school going in the right direction, starting simple at a pace and price point we could manage. Moving into document management is a next step for us, and with the expertise, flexibility, and support we have experienced so far, Sivad Solutions will definitely be in those conversations.”

"Providing our member schools with ALL the necessary tools they need to do their jobs well is what MISBO is all about. Regulated privacy controls, along with good best practices, are what our members ask for and we are thrilled to add Sivad to our array of offerings for our membership" said Marc Levinson, Executive Director, MISBO. Levinson continued, "MISBO has used Sivad for some custom software and we know first-hand how responsive and understanding they are for their clients. Sivad Business Solutions is a vendor that each of our member schools should review for records management."
