IVCi Reveals Cloud Video Experience, Solving the BYOD and Interoperability Challenge
Hauppauge, NY (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- IVCi, LLC (http://www.ivci.com), a leading provider of collaboration services and solutions, today announced its Cloud Video Experience (CVE), a new service that provides an end-to-end cloud based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution for organizations looking to equip conference rooms, desktops, and mobile users with video conferencing while avoiding the upfront costs associated with hardware infrastructure.
When organizations look to implement video conferencing company-wide, there are several key challenges including the cost and difficulty of scaling video to everyone, the growing desire to support BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), and the need to easily interoperate with the myriad of solutions being used in the market today. Cloud Video Experience addresses all of these challenges in a simple, easy-to-use service.
“Video conferencing continues to grow as a viable business communications tool. But the requirements for infrastructure and the challenges around scalability and mobility have impeded true wide-scale deployment,” said Bob Swing, CEO of IVCi. “Our new Cloud Video Experience addresses all of those challenges in a simple and elegant approach. The service will enable our customers to easily and rapidly deploy video across their entire company.”
Cloud Video Experience is a suite of services that enables video conferencing for both room based systems as well as personal devices such as laptops and tablets. In addition, Virtual Meeting Rooms allow multiple participants to meet face to face. These rooms provide connectivity to all standards-based video conferencing systems, as well as, interoperate with Microsoft Lync and WebRTC.
Behind every call made with CVE is a worldwide network that features PoPs (points of presence) in key cities throughout the world, powered by Videxio. The network allows calls to be routed to their closest data center and then forwarded across the globe via a private, video engineered network. Once the call has reached the closest data center on the receiving side, it completes its “last mile” via the internet. Moving video calls across a network in this manner removes potential points of failure and increases both the quality and experience for everyone participating.
IVCi’s Cloud Video Experience is available immediately.
