Project6 Design Launches Responsive Website Design and Development for California Environmental Nonprofit
Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- Project6 Design, a San Francisco Bay Area web design firm, celebrates the launch of a responsive website design and development project for the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA), a leader in the stormwater management field. After more than 10 years’ growth in membership, resources, and outreach activities, CASQA.org was bursting at the seams, and staff members were overwhelmed with site management details. CASQA engaged Project6 Design to refresh the site design and architecture as well as make site updates more manageable for its administrators.
At the outset, the CASQA website had the bulky navigation, lengthy content, jarring advertisements, and clusters of smaller, satellite microsites inherent to organizations whose online presence has grown organically over many years. Staff spent far too many hours answering questions, locating information for visitors, and checking members’ eligibility for discounts.
Project6 Design first organized all of CASQA’s content under one “roof”, seamlessly integrating its microsites into the main site architecture. With stunning imagery of California waterways in hand, Project6 then designed fresh new layouts on a clean, easy-to-navigate, responsive grid. Ecommerce capability was employed to enable users to purchase documents, memberships, subscriptions, and advertising. Most importantly, the content management system enabled Project6 developers to assign roles, permissions, and accounts for users so they could manage their accounts, check their purchases and membership status as well as enjoy discounts—all without administrative assistance.
The new CASQA website presents striking, inspiring images of California waterways that benefit from CASQA’s work. Visitors navigate intuitively to the information they need and log in to manage their accounts, group memberships and subscriptions, or to access members-only areas of the site. Best of all, CASQA administrators can quickly and easily edit the site and access the reports they need to oversee user management.
"Project6 was happy to help CASQA take its website design and its membership management processes to the next level," said Project6 President and Founder Esten Sesto. "It feels great to know that we've freed up more time for CASQA staff to focus on their environmental work."
