Independent Change Management Company Interimco Launches New Services Aimed for UK Members of Oracle PartnerNetwork

Interimco launches two new services aimed for UK based members of Oracle PartnerNetwork to help them benefit from participating in the annual Oracle OpenWorld and Quest COLLABORATE conferences.

Interimco, an independent change management company and recent winner of the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) Independent Partner of the Year Bronze award, has launched two new services. It is to use its experience to help UK based members of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) to showcase their solutions at the leading conferences in the USA for users of Oracle applications. One service focuses on the Oracle OpenWorld event, held annually in San Francisco. The other focuses on the Quest Collaborate event, also held annually in various towns throughout the USA.

Oracle OpenWorld is the premier global conference for all users of Oracle applications and attracts more than 50,000 customers and partners. The next event will take place in San Francisco from September 28th till October 2nd 2014.

COLLABORATE is organised by the Oracle user group Quest International, and is fully supported by Oracle and its employees. It is the primary global conference for Oracle JD Edwards and PeopleSoft communities. Through COLLABORATE participation, attendees are able to influence the future of their Oracle product as well as learn how to make the most of existing capabilities. More than 2,200 delegates attended the 2013 event from 481 companies. 507 were first time attendees. The next event will take place in Las Vegas from April 7-11, 2014.

Both these events represent excellent marketing opportunities for Oracle partners to promote their products and services, However, for member s of OPN based outside the USA, they are expensive events and can prove challenging for the uninitiated.

For many OPN members outside the USA these events may represent their most expensive marketing events of the year, so it is important to make the most of the opportunities and to make sure everything goes smoothly and to plan.

With 50,000 attendees descending on San Francisco and large companies block booking rooms; if you don’t know how the system works you may be faced with the possibility of having to travel long distances each day to get to the exhibition hall. This was the situation for one OPN member until they involved Interimco to sort things out for them.

According to one client, “Our OpenWorld would have died if it were not for Interimco’s assistance and knowledge of how the event works.”

It is fine for the larger organisations with experienced marketing teams but for smaller partners or those who have never attended these events it is so easy to spend a great deal of money and find that things do not go smoothly.

“There are so many little details to think about when attending a large event like Oracle OpenWorld or Collaborate,” said David Hunt, “like making sure your display stand is delivered on time to the right place, like making sure you have electricity supply and lead capture devices, like knowing which networking and social events to attend and such like. These are the important considerations that can make for a successful or disappointing event.”

Interimco has attended many Oracle OpenWorld and Quest events and organised the successful participation for OPN members at these events.
