Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 10, 2013
Outskirts Press, the fastest growing self-publishing and book marketing company, announced today its 2013 "Holiday Spirit" Video Contest. Contestants can grab their video cameras, smartphones, or iPads and expand their artistic creativity by recording a 1-3 minute video that creatively shows their holiday spirit and why their book would make a great holiday gift for fellow authors and readers.
“During the holiday season, people are always looking for great gift ideas. The 'Holiday Spirit' Video Contest gives authors a chance to showcase their book(s) as a great gift option for readers,” said Outskirts Press Executive Vice President Kelly Schuknecht. “This is a great opportunity for authors to showcase their creativity and increase exposure for their book at the same time.”
Holiday Spirit videos will be shared with Outskirts Press social media community Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, increasing exposure for the authors and their books. Video files need to be emailed to holidays (at) outskirtspress (dot) com by midnight on Friday, December 20, 2013 to be eligible.
The earlier videos are posted, the better! Finalists will be decided among the videos with the most likes, so the longer videos are posted, the more likes may be received! The three finalists receiving the most “likes” on our Facebook page from among all the posted entries will be selected for a public vote on the Outskirts Press blog (http://www.selfpublishingnews.com) to determine the winner from December 23-26.
The winner of the $99 Gift Certificate will be announced on Friday, December 27, 2013.
