appMobi Announces Year-End Resignation of Leland A. Westerfield, Chief Financial Officer
Lancaster, PA (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- appMobi, Inc. today announced that Leland A. Westerfield, chief financial officer, has tendered his resignation in order to pursue other interests. Mr. Westerfield will remain with the company and continue to assist it as an employee through December 31, 2013.
The board of directors of appMobi, in a formal resolution, expressed: “…its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Leland Westerfield upon the occasion of the announcement of his resignation from the company effective December 31, 2013. As Lee enters the next phase of his career, the appMobi Board extends its best wishes for his continued success, with the confidence that the challenges and opportunities he chooses to address will benefit from his expertise just as has our company.”

In Grateful Recognition of the Financial and Strategic Leadership
of Leland Westerfield, upon his stepping down as Chief Financial Officer of appMobi, Inc.
WHEREAS, for nearly three years, Lee has been a loyal and dedicated member of the senior management team of appMobi, and has performed his responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer with professionalism and distinction; and
WHEREAS, the insight, ingenuity and analytical prowess he has displayed have proven to be of great value, and have helped propel appMobi’s growth during his tenure to the respected position it has come to occupy in the mobile application software development field; and
WHEREAS, over the course of Lee's tenure with appMobi, the company refined its strategic direction, expanded its product and service offerings through both acquisition and organic growth, dramatically grew key performance indicators, and executed an M&A process selling its developer tools division to Intel, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, appMobi, having benefited significantly from the aforementioned progress, is today reorganized and has embarked upon a plan to develop and grow new ventures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of appMobi, Inc. wishes to express its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Leland Westerfield upon the occasion of the announcement of his resignation from the company effective December 31, 2013.
