Berg, Germany (PRWEB) December 11, 2013
The music and audiobook publisher andante media HÖRARCHIV has today released its first international version of the iOS app for the iPhone: “ClassiCal-Musiccalendar – every day a new piece of music”. “ClassiCal” was successfully released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland one week ago. “ClassiCal” provides access to the enormous music archive of one of the largest independent rights owners within the German-speaking area. The archive includes classical music recordings from more than 40 years of music history from the 20th century.
Well-known and established European orchestras, distinguished soloists, ensembles and conductors as well as international award winners take listeners on a comprehensive journey through the world of classical music.
From the must haves to very rare recordings, “ClassiCal” presents true pearls of classical music 365 days of the year. The daily view of the calendar currently contains the anniversaries of the births and deaths of over 400 composers from more than 25 countries and will be permanently extended.
“ClassiCal is kind of like those chocolate eggs for kids with a surprise toy in the middle – only it’s for lovers of classical music,” says Diana Ziegler, the owner and publishing director of andante media. “The app offers a daily dose of excitement, entertainment and surprise!” The fully integrated music player with its various options for sorting the tracks helps users to manage the permanently growing music library’s songs.
“ClassiCal-Musiccalendar” is now available as an iPhone app – a version for the iPad will follow. Localised language versions are currently being created and will be released step by step all around the globe.
Further details about the app are available at http://www.apps.andante-media.de or from the App Store.
andante media – The Digital Entertainment Company:
andante media is an established music and audiobook publisher located in Berg on Lake Starnberg just outside of Munich. Founded by Diana Ziegler in 1995, “andante media HÖRARCHIV” is one of the largest independent rights owners within the German-speaking area.
Its main lines of business are licensing and the production of customised audio CDs for advertising campaigns. From add-on promotions and retail editions to individually commissioned works and charity projects, the company’s service portfolio is enormous.
Since the digital entertainment division was established in 2006, andante media has been providing its customers with completely customised e-solutions for downloading music and audiobooks that work as innovative marketing tools. It was therefore only logical for the company to pool all of its expertise to begin developing its own music apps to provide the world’s music collectors access to the archive of "andante media HÖRARCHIV".
