Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) December 11, 2013

Deloitte and Intelligent Licensing Corporation announced a global agreement between the two firms to jointly address the nascent, burgeoning SAP Software Asset Management (SAM) market.

“Enterprises increasingly want to bring their SAP licensing into their Software Asset Management (SAM) program as they recognize the importance and efficiencies in controlling their spiraling software costs and reducing compliance risk,” said Jan Corstens, Partner of Contract Risk & Compliance Services at Deloitte. “By paying greater attention to their SAP licensing environments as they have for other major software vendors, they can begin to bring better order and control to their annual software maintenance and procurement costs.”

Deloitte will build its SAP Software Asset Management practice around Intelligent Licensing’s leading product, the Dynamic Licensing Suite. Deloitte will offer a comprehensive set of analysis, processes and applications that enable their SAM practitioners to carry out a discovery process, develop a baseline inventory of SAP licenses provisioned, optimize their license inventory and assure compliance with SAP contracts, indirect access and license types/roles.

“Deloitte has developed a large, successful global practice in advising large enterprises in the development and implementation of their SAM program. By combining their deep domain expertise and experience with our powerful SAP-focused software, we can help SAP customers better understand what software licenses they are using, how compliant they are with their contract entitlements and how best to assure they are getting the best return from that investment,” said Alf Goebel, Vice President at Intelligent Licensing.
