Reading Eggs has enhanced the learning to read experience with the program now available on Android. Children can now learn to read on the go and complete lessons by using the intuitive touch-based interactivity of the Android.
Released on iPad in September this year, Reading Eggs for Android includes all 120 lessons from the original version plus many other great features, including the Arcade, Reggie’s Store, and a range of rewards. Reading Eggs for Android makes learning to read even more enjoyable, with children now able to complete lessons by using the ‘tap’ and ‘touch and drag’ functionality of Android devices.
Reading Eggs can be used on Android devices with Operating System 4.1, Jelly Bean or later. The program can be accessed through Google Chrome version 29.0 or later, with an internet connection required while accessing the program.
Launched in 2008, Reading Eggs provides a comprehensive range of online reading lessons and ebooks that teach children aged 3 to 13 the literacy skills needed for lifetime reading success. Children progress through the one-on-one lessons at their own pace and parents can track their learning with regular progress reports and assessments.
Reading Eggs also has two separate apps for Android available for download from Google Play – Eggy Words 250 and Eggy Alphabet. Mathseeds, the online math program for 3 to 6 year olds from the creators of Reading Eggs, is also available for use on Android.
