Tim Burke Named Vice President of Gaming Operations at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida
Hollywood, Florida (PRWEB) December 11, 2013 -- Tim Burke has been named vice president of gaming operations at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. He is responsible for overseeing the resort’s slots, table games and poker departments. His appointment was announced by Michael Volkert, president of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Burke possesses 33 years of experience in the gaming industry. He joins Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood from the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he served as vice president of slot operations for seven years. During his tenure, Burke established a highly profitable slot department and oversaw more than 150 employees in a highly competitive environment. For 11 years, Burke was vice president of slot operations for Trump Properties (Trump Plaza, Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Marina) in Atlantic City where he operated the casino floors at all three Trump properties, and launched the opening of Trump World’s Fair Casino in 1996. He began his career with Resorts International Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City working his way up from slots service associate to chief slot technician. During this time he opened Lilly Belle Casino in Blackhawk, Colorado and orchestrated many floor reconfigurations for Paradise Island Casino in The Bahamas.
