ProtectCELL and Bluegrass Cellular Partner to Launch Wireless Cloud Service
Novi, Michigan (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- ProtectCELL, a Fortegra Financial company (NYSE: FRF) dedicated to helping its users get protected and stay connected, today announces a partnership with Kentucky-based wireless carrier Bluegrass Cellular to launch Bluegrass Phone Cloud, powered by ProtectCELL.
The new cloud service provides a variety of advanced mobile protection services, including cloud-based mobile contact backup and mobile device data protection, for Bluegrass Cellular customers. Users can store their mobile phonebooks in the cloud and retrieve the information in the case of damage, loss, or mobile phone data failure.
“Bluegrass Phone Cloud fits perfectly into our mission of providing the latest in wireless technology,” said Barry Nothstine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bluegrass Cellular. “With this service, we can ensure that our customers are able to safely store and maintain personal information on their mobile devices. We’re excited to release it to our customers.”
Leveraging ProtectCELL’s technology and resources, Bluegrass Phone Cloud users receive a variety of crucial services in the event of a lost device, including remote device lock location services. For example, if the user cannot locate the device, Bluegrass Phone Cloud services can lock the phone and wipe the device of its information. If the device is found, the user can restore it. If the user purchases a replacement phone, the previous phone’s data can be downloaded to the new device.
“The partnership between ProtectCELL and Bluegrass Cellular means we are able to protect even more customer devices,” said ProtectCELL National Sales Director Roger High. “We’re enthusiastic to directly provide our mobile protection services to the Kentucky market through Bluegrass Phone Cloud.”
Bluegrass Phone Cloud is now available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Learn more about Bluegrass Phone Cloud at bluegrasscellular.com/plans_features/features/extras.
