Yamaha’s Reinvented Line of Professional Flutes Offers Handmade Quality and Superior Sound
Buena Park, Calif. (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- Yamaha today introduced a new line of professional flutes at the 2014 NAMM Show. The series, which includes the YFL-577HCT and YFL-587HCT, the YFL-677HCT and YFL-687HCT and the YFL-777HCT and YFL-787HCT, include exceptional features once reserved only for handmade instruments.
Yamaha’s reinvented flutes contain a hand-finished, sterling silver A-cut headjoint that provides rich, colorful tone and a wide, dynamic range. On the 600 and 700 series models, heavywall body construction contributes to a warm sound and impressive resonance. To accommodate well-regarded Straubinger Phoenix™Pads, which provide a precise seal and smooth response, Yamaha reconfigured its tone holes and pad cups.
The new professional flutes are designed to meet the needs of musicians involved in a range of performance settings and to provide students with quality instruments at affordable prices that are a pleasure to play. Even after introducing many improvements to these instruments, Yamaha’s consistency of craftsmanship ensures exceptional precision and dependability.
“Yamaha flutes stand out for their exacting specifications and high level of quality,” said Brian Petterson, marketing manager, Wind Instruments, Yamaha Corporation of America. “Constant testing and analysis has resulted in design and production innovations. The new professional flutes set a higher standard for responsiveness and expressiveness, allowing flutists of all ages to play with a colorful, nuanced and beautiful sound.”
