New Bundled Medical Care Option in Response to Affordable Care Act
Fort Collins, CO (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- Total Vein Care announced today a set of local actions designed to help patients continue care of vein disorders, even during the uncertainty faced in the market for many facets of health care from the Affordable Care Act implementation. TVC patients will be able to bundle vein assessments at no additional cost with Sclerotherapy treatment as a bundle to lower the expense of medical care. In this manner TVC facilitates patient care with knowledge in advance of the medical care cost versus waiting to see “what the doctor bill looks like.”
The cost of healthcare is expected to rise by over $7000 for a family of four over the next ten years according to a recent article by Forbes Magazine. Amidst the health care turmoil, Dr. Steven Kaufman of Total Vein Care Center in Fort Collins, Colorado is taking a stand to continue looking out for the needs of every patient. “When the very access to affordable health care seems to have been derailed, due to the inability to implement the Affordable Care Act effectively, I believe physicians have to take a patient stand to stabilize costs and offer the quality medical care we have become accustomed to” commented Kaufman. “Far too often local solutions to problems are overlooked or overshadowed by the wait for national fixes when they are best handled in local markets by local experts” he continued. Kaufman concluded his remarks by stating… “I did not become a vascular surgeon and practice all these years, for the very essence of my practice to be controlled by long-distance programs. I am a local physician, treating patients locally and I intend to stay in that business.”
Dr. Kaufman’s most recent advancement in the market place involves the common need for treatment for what is called spider veins. The treatment, Sclerotherapy is a simple, quick, inexpensive, and time-tested treatment for spider vein care. Kaufman commented…“I believe that professional care of vein disorders in not only necessary to treat the physical discomfort but also the source of patient’s self-esteem. Too many times I have seen patients develop some variety of vein disorder and they just let the condition impact their whole life. In many instances they let it immobilize them; that does not have to be.” Dr. Kaufman understands the value of meeting with patients personally to assess their specific needs and offers complimentary assessments to prospective patients and those concerned about their vein conditions.
