Topping Off Ceremony for One Netanya to Be Held in Sunny Isles Beach
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (PRWEB) December 13, 2013 -- On Monday, December 16, at 3:30 p.m., the City will join The Steiger Group and Mount Sinai Medical Center in the official topping off ceremony of One Netanya, at 323 Sunny Isles Boulevard. This Class A office building will be the home of Mount Sinai Primary and Specialty Care Sunny Isles Beach. The Steiger Group, a family owned and operated company, developed One Netanya at this prime location in Sunny Isles Beach.
The Steiger family, originally from Netanya, Israel, was instrumental in bringing about the twinning of the City of Sunny Isles Beach with Netanya as part of the Sister Cities International program. The building is named to honor the family’s roots and that Sister City relationship. This father/son joint venture is long awaited.
“This project has been in progress for years and we are excited to see it come to life,” said Arie Steiger, longtime resident and multiple property owner in Sunny Isles Beach. “The topping off ceremony is very special for our family. Sunny Isles Beach is our home and we are so proud to deliver a high quality office building to our community in which we live and work.”
Arie’s son, Alon, concurs, “We felt it was important to this City to have a state-of-the-art office complex that would attract the business community that is representative of the character of the new Sunny Isles Beach.”
The primary leaseholder of One Netanya will be Mount Sinai Primary and Specialty Care Sunny Isles Beach. Once fully established, the entire 6th floor will be occupied by Mount Sinai Primary and Specialty Care.
“All of us at Mount Sinai Medical Center congratulate the City of Sunny Isles Beach and the Steiger family on the construction of One Netanya,” said Steven D. Sonenreich, president and chief executive officer of Mount Sinai. “While we have had a presence in Aventura for many years, this new satellite center will give residents of Sunny Isles Beach and the surrounding community easier access to our physicians and the specialized care and services we provide.”
Dr. Joshua Gizersky, will be among the physicians in the new center when it opens next year. A true hometown physician, Dr. Gizersky and his family are proud residents of Sunny Isles Beach, and he is looking forward to the opportunity to serve his community. As an added bonus, Dr. Gizersky is fluent in Russian, as well as English. This type of personal care is a great fit for Sunny Isles Beach.
“Sunny Isles Beach has an A-rated school, magnificent parks, and now will have high quality healthcare worthy of our world class status,” said Mayor Norman S. Edelcup. “This partnership of a Class A office building and Mount Sinai Medical Center is the final piece to complete the renaissance from a tourist destination to a world class city.”
One Netanya, a full 7 floors grossing 103,000 square feet, offers office space from 1,000 to 12,000 square feet and retail space from 600 to 6,000 square feet. Completion is anticipated for Fall 2014. The Steiger Group LLC is a full service family company providing development/design/build and management services taking a project from conception to completion.
