Prescott College: Lower Tuition and Simplified Financial Aid

Prescott College finds a solution to transparency in financial aid and makes private higher education possible for more families.

Prescott, Arizona (PRWEB) January 02, 2014

Prescott College has lowered tuition and simplified financial aid. The Prescott Plan: Value, Honesty and Simplicity lowers tuition, cuts out the complexity around financial aid and places Prescott College, Arizona’s private, liberal arts college, within reach of more families. “As someone from a blue-collar background and as a first generation college student myself, I know that small class sizes and a personal education make all the difference. Prescott College excels at education focused on the individual,” notes Dr. Brian Sajko, Dean of Enrollment Management at PC.

As an answer to financial aid complexity, both merit and need based aid have been reworked so that negotiating cost is a notion of the past. A basic, transparent, upfront calculator is displayed at http://www.prescott.edu which clearly explains associated amounts of institutional aid each student may receive. In addition, there is no undergraduate application fee and many endowed scholarships are also available and all awards are open to international and Dream Act students.

With an enrollment of 1,200 and located in the central highlands of Arizona, Prescott College offers competency based programs in the liberal arts and professional disciplines with an experiential education focus. A private, non-profit institution, Prescott College offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees offering prior learning assessment credit in a residential and limited residency format.
