The Miracle League of Arizona, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of the disabled, announces it is the recipient of proceeds from XXIV Karat’s Holiday Tasting event. XXIV Karat will donate $2.00 of every bottle sold during the event held at BevMo, 7129 East Shea Boulevard, Scottsdale from two to four p.m. on December 15, 2013.
The Miracle League of Arizona is a non-profit organization based in Scottsdale, dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable baseball experience for children, teens and adults with disabilities or special health care needs. They offer adaptive baseball, at an accessible stadium, removing the barriers that would normally keep individuals off the baseball field.
Casie Switalski, MLAZ Director of Operations, “These donations have a direct impact on our ability to improve the quality of life for our athletes. XXIV Karat recognizes this need in our community, and has generously offered to donate proceeds from the upcoming wine tasting. We hope the community will come on out and support us and buy a bottle of holiday cheer.”
Founded by Nicholas Cowherd and Kegan Klein—Arizona natives and Arizona State University alumni—XXIV Karat is an exclusive champagne that combines an incomparable taste with the unique experience of drinking a gold infused bubbly. It is part of the company’s mission to give back and affect positive change in the local community.
“The Miracle League of Arizona provides an incredible opportunity to many kids and adults in the community. We are honored to be able to support their mission, especially during the holiday season,” said founder Nicholas Cowherd.
