PharmaSmart® will deploy its state of the art blood pressure and pulse kiosk, supported by its patented, integrated data management solution and the Blood Pressure Tracker™ personal health record, which can be accessed at http://www.sav-mor.com or http://www.savondrugs.com. The Sav-Mor/Sav-On patient, pharmacist and local physician can now better manage patients with hypertension and related chronic conditions. Through the PharmaSmart® PHR, patients and providers can also access the Health & Human Services (HHS) Million Hearts Risk Assessment platform. The Million Hearts program is aimed at eliminating one million heart attacks by 2017. Both companies are spreading the news across the state of Michigan by detailing physicians and offering free health screenings at Sav-Mor/Sav-On pharmacy retail sites.
