Zomboy Announces Introductory Single from Debut LP - The Outbreak; Premiering on Billboard
London, UK (PRWEB) April 25, 2014 -- Marking the first single from his highly anticipated forthcoming LP ‘The Outbreak’, Zomboy delivers ‘WTF!?’ on May 19th. The track will be available to stream exclusively via Billboard May 12th. Being in the midst of one of the most pivotal periods of his career, Joshua Mellody’s alter ego is additionally set to embark on an extensive 29-date US tour, which neatly ties in with this release on Never Say Die. Expected tour support includes Eptic, TC, & Cookie Monsta.
Citing early inspiration from names including Skrillex, Reso and Rusko, his first EP upon signing to Never Say Die Records ‘Game Time’ smashed the Beatport charts and led to the likes of Ministry of Sound and Warner Music snapping up several of his other tracks for various compilations. Now, taking the opportunity to explore new sounds and styles, ‘WTF!?’ is an invigorating take on Big Room House, still managing to incorporate Zomboy’s trademark gurgling bass and entwining melodies. The rhythmical progression increases with an almost menacing intensity until it reaches its climax, where Zomboy switches things up in effortless style.
Alongside the original comes an uncompromising remix from tour support and Dubstep stalwart, Cookie Monsta, who delivers exactly what fans of the Circus Records sound have come to expect.
Exhilarating, unpredictable and electrifying; ‘WTF!?’ is just a taste of what is yet to come from the revered producer this year.
