The team at Creditplus were keen to help raise money for Save the Children by wearing their all time favourite Christmas jumpers into work – and everyone donated £1 and help make the world a better place with a sweater. An excellent variety of sweaters appeared in the office this morning some handmade and others brought – either way it was fantastic to see the response and support that the cause received and what a better way to end the week than to spend the day cuddled up in your cosy festive jumper.

As a lover of tacky Christmas sweaters from a tender age we thought it would be a good idea to run a competition and award a prize for the ugliest jumper.

Peter Longley got his hands firmly on the prize for his tremendous efforts to design and make the office’s ugliest jumper.

A raffle also took place throughout the day where colleagues were asked to donate a £1 to be in for a chance of winning some exciting prizes. We are proud to have raised a wonderful amount of money for Save the Children which our Managing Director, Shaun Armstrong, has kindly agreed to double! Further fundraising is set to continue over the weekend.

Save the Children is a charity that gives children from around the world the opportunities they deserve in life – a healthy start, the chance to learn, and protection from harm and danger. They put children’s needs first in time of trouble and turbulence.
