Communications International “Ci” an integrator of voice, data and software systems for public safety, security and public service agencies, is implementing a new radio system for the City of Aventura. The new Project 25 (P25) standards based radio system will provide new levels of interoperability and communications for the city’s emergency responders.
While the current system served the City’s needs well over the past years, Aventura recognized that the technology was nearing end of support from the manufacturer. In addition, the City wanted to ensure seamless interoperability with emergency responders from neighboring Miami-Dade County who recently upgraded their radio system.
Ci has supported the City of Aventura’s radio systems operations since 2000. Mark Feurer, President of Ci, stated, “It’s a privilege to help the City of Aventura ensure reliable and safe communications for its first responders. We are excited to bring this new system online to help Aventura serve and protect its citizens.”
